The Genomics Core Facility were proud sponsors of speakers at the Oslo epigenetics Symposium 8-9 November 2012.

Epigenetics is a rapidly expanding research field that explores heritable alterations in cells and organisms not controlled by their DNA sequence. Epigenetic research is highly relevant to human health as well as agriculture and climate change. Oslo Epigenetics Symposium 2012 present cutting-edge epigenetic research from top international researchers.

Head of the Genomics Core Facility, Leonardo Meza-Zepeda, were part of the organizing committee, and the Core Facility also sponsored this event, and event that also got quite some publicity in the media.
