New I.DOT installed
Our new Dispendix I.DOT DW liquid handling system is installed and personnel at the Genomics Core Facility has received training. The I.DOT system uses eight individually controlled positive pressure channels to generate nanodroplets from 8 to 50 nanoliters from a small hole at the bottom of each well. Each channel can generate up to 100 droplets per second giving control and speed to the users all while eliminating cross-contamination. The I.DOT is our latest addition to the Genomics Core Facility to further improve the reproducibility and speed of our services. The multiple applications for the I.DOT include genomics and proteomics assays, compound dispensing, assay development and cell dispensing.
