New funding to research infrastructure
The National consortium for sequencing and personalized medicine receives 60 MNOK for large research infrastructuren from the Research Council of Norway. The consortium is a collaboration between the Norwegian Sequencing Center and the Norwegian Genomics Consortium aiming to bring genome sequencing to personalised medince. The Genomics Core Facility is a leading partner of the consortium participating in the cancer sequencing efforts.

The Genomics Core Facility has successfully gone through a certification process to become a certified NGS ProLab for TWIST Bioscience technologies.
The Genomics Core Facility at Oslo University Hospital and University of Oslo is now a Core Lab for nCounter and GeoMx technologies.
